I want to share something with you from my heart. I have too many friends who are no longer with us and an even larger number who have done or are doing real time and it has not been easy to see my generation X almost destroyed and now yours.
The life saving, changing power of Jesus Christ is real and powerful. He is more real, more powerful, and bigger than even your problems. God is no respecter of persons. If He has changed, transformed, and blessed my life, He can do the same for yours. Did you know it is God’s will to bless you right here in this life and save you for Himself for all eternity? We have choices. You can choose God now and experience God’s blessings, peace, and forgiveness right here in this life and then know the joys of Heaven later, or you can live under the curse of the law and be a slave to sin here and now, only to go to hell later. It is your choice, homey. The choice of life or death, blessings or curses is your choice.
I encourage you to choose life, God’s blessings and eternal security.
If you want life, just taste and see that the Lord is good. How do I get a taste you may ask? This is how - just pray this prayer:
Dear God, I admit I am a sinner. I believe You sent Your only begotten Son Jesus, who died on the cross for my sins and on the third day rose again. I accept that sacrifice on behalf of my sins. Come into my life and into my heart. Forgive me, wash me clean, and make me whole. Teach me, show me, be the Lord of my life. AMEN.
Now if you prayed this prayer, I wish to present you with a challenge: read the book of John in the Bible and learn how Jesus is not only God’s only Son, He is also God Himself, and He and Father God are one. Learn this and much more here.
Also I challenge you to read the book of Proverbs. It is a book of practical advice for living successfully and it teaches you how to become blessed. These readings will help you gain wisdom as well.
Jesus, who is God, became a man in order to show us how to live. Then He allowed Himself to be crucified on our behalf to pay for the sins we have committed. Pray to Him. As you do this, God bless you, homey, as He surely will for your obedience.
